Contact 4.6 Problem

Hi! all
I have problem with Contact form.. Below is the option that I selected from the template.
I chosed the option sendmail.
However I cannot receive any message.

Absender Name = ""
Empfänger EMail my@mymail.ocm
Betreff = " Message from web"

Mailer mail
qmail
sendmail xxxx // this option is chossen
smtp = ""
SMTP Host = ""
SMTP User = ""
SMTP Passwort = ""

try to use "mail"

try to use "mail"

Tried mail nothing happen..

The problem is there is no way to trap the error. messages.
I just have "Message sent." thats all
