backend menu items wrong display

Hi,

My backend menu Dutch:
instead of categorieeen (categories) it displays: ën
French instead of upload: éléchargement

Deleted everything, started new install...same prob...
Any suggestions??

Nope, runnning 5.0.4......

Sorry, I don't speak german...Tried with a dictionary...no success it's really hard to find things in this forum so excuse me if the solution is in here
