Directory and/or the files are not write

Hi!

I am experiencing the problems with installation of Contenido. At the second step of installation routine: Directory write check, I get the following message:

Directory and or files are not writeable.

I was trying to figure out by myself what causes the problem but couldn’t solve it.

That’s how the whole screen looks.

Step 2: Server-Check
Your server was checked to ensure that Contenido runs properbly. Click on the symbols and to get more informations.

ask your provider to set the appropiate file permissions.

Thank you very much for your reaction. I followed your advice and checked all the files and directories permissions on the server. All the appropriate files are set to read and write. Unfortunately problem still remains.
At the second step of installation routine: Directory write check, I still get the same message, that

directory and/or files are not writeable

. But all of them are writable! I even tried to set them to executable but it didn't help.

I really don't know what may still cause this problem, but it is very confusing. What can you advice me to do? I am already second week trying to install Contenido but still didn't get any further then second step

Remember that the FTP user and the web server user are two completely different ones. Make sure that the webserver (as it is the executor of the scripts) has the permission to read and write these directories, not your FTP-user.
