How programming in Contenido news modules

I'm new in Contenido, but I have interest in this CMS.

I would like to know if there documentation of the API CONTENIDO and some simple examples to begin scheduling, unfortunately I do not speak German and that is one of my major impediments, Thanks for the help they could offer me.

I'm interesting in a search engine for external Database and a Calendar Engine in Contenido.

after ReDedesign of contenido website there is no downloadlink for API-doc anymore.
But u can find docs for 4.6.x on sourceforge.net

or u can use Doxygen www.doxygen.org/ to build new API-doc for new Version 4.8.

For examples how to build a module there are no tutorials in the moment, so far i know, but u can search for simple modules in forum.
