Layouts und Navigation nur mit CSS

Can anyone help me out?????

Im new to Contenido and have problems using it.

I design and programm my layouts using CSS.

Whenever i try to intergrate my css navigation it doesnt work.

Can anyone help a newbie out, who hasnt got a clue about Contenido??

first of all: what did you do? Which navigation do you use? CSS only isn't the key, you need the correct HTML counterpart to make it work.

ive found out how to get my css working.
Had to end the module and compile new templates, everything is working.

But one thin still bothers me, why do i have to put my css in the format.css?

If i dont it doesnt work - STRANGE

ps. to Louis & Timo - are you both English?

well you don't have to - just have a look at your layout. It's just HTML - so you can place your css anywhere you want, you just have to change the file name, as you would in your favourite HTML editor.

Nope, not at all. But working for a worldwide company speaking and writing English helps a lot....

Thanks for the help everyone.

Have been able to sort everything out and now everything works.
Its a good system as soon as you get the hang of things.

Ive tried Typo 3, Mambo, Limbo.
All rubbish or to complicated.
